About Dr. Zakiya Moyenda
Dr. Moyenda is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and he is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. For the past 8 years, Dr. Moyenda has worked as a Hospitalist Physician in S. Florida. He also owns and operates a non-profit organization that serves the underserved community which provides academic scholarships to high-achieving young students who need financial assistance. He is also an author of a poetry book entitled “Eternal Soul: Spoken Words from an Intelligent Warrior on a Journey” which was independently published in 2016. He has been featured in the Boca Raton Observer for his work. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, exercising, cooking and spending time with family and close friends.
